As a full-time dad to a 3-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy, I had the privilege of being heavily involved in their early education. After working from home as an entrepreneur for 5+ years, I spent a decade balancing work and family time. When it came to preparing for school, I navigated the overwhelming list of materials, searching for quality options within our budget. I noticed many schools were opting for pre-packaged kits with little transparency about contents. When I joined Office Depot, I saw an opportunity to make a difference. As someone who understood the needs of entrepreneurs, homeschooling families, and remote workers, I championed an initiative to automate the school supply process in a fun and flexible way. This would allow parents to pick and choose supplies online or in-store and have them delivered or picked up in collectible boxes. I'm excited to share the creative process behind this project, from idea generation to final product.
